Specifications
Rental Rules
- Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license which must be presented to Butch's Leasing LLC prior to renting
- Children under 21 must be accompanied by an adult
- Maximum weight capacity: 500 lbs
- Security deposit required ($100)
- Cancellations: full refund in case of bad weather (all day rain, predicted thunderstorms, high winds), full refund if you need to cancel with 3 days prior notice, no refund for unused rental time, we will reschedule (NOT REFUND) if you request to cancel with less than 3 days notice
- Late returns charged at $15 per 30 minutes

Coordinated Paddling
Communicate with your partner and try to paddle in sync for maximum efficiency and straight tracking.
Weight Distribution
Distribute weight evenly in the kayak. Typically, the heavier person should sit in the back for better control.
Proper Grip
Hold the paddle with hands shoulder-width apart and ensure the concave part of the blade faces you.
Safety First
Always wear your life jacket and stay aware of changing weather conditions and boat traffic.
Stay Hydrated
Bring water in a secure bottle to stay hydrated, especially on hot summer days on the lake.
