Rental Rules
- Must be 21 years of age and possesses a valid driver's license which must be presented to Butch's Leasing LLC prior to renting
- Life vests must be worn at all times
- No alcohol consumption while operating the boat
- Maximum capacity: 6 passengers
- Security deposit required ($1,000)
- Must maintain slow-no wake speed within 100 feet of docks, swimming areas, or anchored vessels
- Must maintain slow-no wake speed within 200 feet of shoreline on Great Lakes or 100 feet on other shorelines
- Cannot operate in water less than 2 feet deep unless docking or at slow-no wake speed
- Gas will be paid upon return for the amount used

Some boating experience is recommended for speedboat rentals. Our staff will provide a comprehensive orientation before your rental, covering operation, navigation, and safety guidelines. You must be at least 21 years of age and possesses a valid driver's license which must be presented to Butch's Leasing LLC prior to renting. If you're new to boating, we can provide additional instruction to ensure you feel comfortable.
Your rental includes the speedboat, life jackets for all passengers, and basic safety equipment. Gas is excluded from the rental price and will be paid upon return for the amount used. You're welcome to bring your own food, drinks, and water toys.
Yes! Our speedboats are perfect for water sports. They come equipped with tow points for tubing, waterskiing, or wakeboarding. We also rent tubes and water sports equipment separately if you don't have your own.

You must operate in water at least 2 feet deep, maintain slow-no wake speed within 100 feet of docks or swimming areas and within 200 feet of shoreline on Great Lakes. You must follow all Michigan boating laws and our staff will review these with you before your rental. Remember that you'll pay for gas used upon return of the boat.
